OUR GOAT MILK SOAP FACTS
We use the wonderful milk from our herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats in all of our soaps and lotions.
Goat milk has some really interesting properties to it. It has antibacterial properties that can help alleviate acne. It can help other skin issues too, such as eczema, psoriasis, or dry skin. The high fat levels in goat milk help to hydrate your skin. Goat milk also contains lactic acid which aids in breaking down dead skin.
All of our soaps and lotions are made in small batches. They are all handmade and homemade.
For most our soaps we replace 100% of the water with goat milk. The higher fat content in the soap helps to hydrate your skin, leaving it healthier. There are no added chemicals that will dry your skin. Most of our soaps contain less than 6 oils, butters, and fats.
Did you know:
-Goat milk has the same PH as our own skin, so it doesn't strip the good stuff from our skin.
-Goat milk contains alpha-hydroxy acid which helps exfoliate skin; helps promote collagen production; helps brighten your skin; and helps with improving the appearance of surface lines and wrinkles.
We make soaps that are 100 percent all natural, with no added fragrance or colors. And we also make soaps that are full of fragrance and delightful colors.
For our lotions we use the same, basic recipe. Our lotions contain limited ingredients, no alcohol, no ingredients you can't understand. No harsh chemicals. One of the unique things about our lotions is the Calendula infused olive oil we add. Calendula is such a wonderful flower. It said to have anti-inflammatory properties that help with skin conditions.
